I usually don't do products reviews and I'm not paid to do this by the company. I just happen to be a very happy and surprised user of this incredible product called Remove-zit.
No, it's not for your face, it's for stained dolls!
If you are as ancient as me and if you have the dolls from your childhood you may have some stained plastic dolls too (like Barbies with green ears). I had my own loved doll from my early childhood hidden in a closet for decades with her face badly stained. I don't know what caused this but she was in a damp cellar for years before coming to America with me.
I tried removing the stain with most common products but nothing worked.
Once a while, along the years, I would take Natalina (that's her name) out and I tried removing the stains. No luck and the stain grew bigger and bigger with more yellowing around.
About a month ago, I came across this product while surfing around antique dolls websites. There were some photo samples but I wasn't sure if believing in it or not. The worst that could happen was to waste 20 bucks so I bought it.
It comes in a jelly-smelly paste that you have to smear over the affected doll parts. The miracle doesn't happen before your eyes, it takes days. You let your doll rest for a couple of days with her beauty cream on, then remove it and smear more until the stain has disappeared.
Natalina took a week or more but now, look at her! She's still ugly I know (LOL) but she's my oldest friend and I'm happy I managed to give her new life again. Now she can live out of the closet!! :-)

It worked perfectly! Pretty amazing product.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, wow! That worked really well! I might look at thrift store dolls differently now. Thank you for reviewing!
