Kiara, OOAK BJD (2 months later... finally DONE!)

KIARA (pron: Kee-aar-aa). This doll nearly took the fun of sculpting dolls away from me....... it's been harder than I thought. I guess I'm not that good yet to get myself into these difficult projects but I enjoy the challenge....
I really don't know if I want to make another though....... I like the way she turned out although she's a tad too skinny in her legs and her knee joints could still be improved. Obviously there's always room for improvement.... these jointed dolls are probably an ongoing project.
I don't even want to think of improving her though....... she is DONE forever now....... :-D

  1. I like her smile and seductive eyes but I would dress her a bit and then the skin is kind of pale. This was something I noticed as your style; all your dolls have very white skin.Is that you want them so?
I would say this doll is a success. You did a wonderful job.

  2. Kiara means Light in Italian (spelt Chiara).
My photos show her lighter than she truly is. I'm a very poor photographer, but yes, I like pale faces too! :-)
